Sorry, I'll calm down now and get onto post number two. I actually made myself get off the sofa tonight and make this card. It was either that or fall asleep to Four Weddings. I love that program, it amazes me how people can be so nasty lol.

Ingredients

Plain card stock, Magnolia images, the flowers are handmade, the swirl is made from a punch, the strawberries are made from a stamp that was free with a magazine, the home sweet home sign was computer generated.

Friends Birthday Card

Last one for today as my back is aching from sitting in the craft room for god knows how many hours, lol. What a day today....I mucked up the treacle steam pud, first time I have ever done that, then hubby opened the dishwashwer and the bottom tray went flying out onto the tiled kitchen floor and smashed about 6 plates. Let alone the mess it left on the floor, broken crockery and food, yuck!

Circle Card

Afternoon :-)
Where has the sun gone ????? We were planning a bar-b-que today, but it keeps raining :-( Oh well, we can stick it all in the oven, lol.
Thought I would try something different today and managed to work out how to make a circular card using my Cricut (well, hubby did) and I must say that I am quite pleased with the way it came out.

I couldnt make the baby girl card without making the baby boy one. I always tend to make the baby girl cards and forget the baby boy ones. Its like I dont believe that people have baby boys because I cant decorate their cards with flowers, he he.

Hope youa re all well and enjoying the glorious weather :-) I was determined to make more than one card today and I succeeded, hoorah.

This one is for the Lili of The Valley Challenge. Its Challenge #51 and the sketch is a nice easy one to follow (hence why I amanged it, lol)

The stamp is a Lili of the Valley stamp coloured with ProMarkers. The circles are done with Nestabilities and the ribbon border is made using Marianne Designs Creatable.

Nephews 21st Birthday Card

Hi all

Hope everyone is ok and not working too hard ( I can say that because I am on holeeeday), lol.

Today has been a relaxing day not doing much apart from sitting in my craft room. Although I did have one bodge card today that is now living in the bin :-(

However I did have two succesful cards today so thats good. This one is for my nephew who is 21 next week. I really struggled with this as he doesnt like football or cars really, he just likes to drink, hence why I chose this image.

Anya Christmas Card

Evening all :-)

What a lovely sunny day today. I though that I would go and sunbathe today but although it was sunny, it wasnt that warm as there was a strong breeze blowing. So, me being me, I suggested to hubby that we take a nice stroll down to Sainsburys to just buy some french bread for lunch. On the way there we walked through the woods and then on the road. I didnt realise how far it was, apparantly just over 3 miles ! Once in Sainsburys we obviously couldnt just buy bread and spent £15 then had to carry it the whole 3 miles back. I am now in agony and have a sunburnt face, he he.

Back to my card... I thought I should do a Xmas card as I started off with good intentions to make them early, but that only lasted a couple of weeks and I forgot about them, lol.

Recipe Magnolia

Evening all

I have been AWOL for a while because I was running around like a nutter trying to get everything ready for my hubbys birthday and our holiday. We were flying out to Tunisia for a week this morning to be a couple of vegetables in the sun. Apparantly some volcano thing has gone off in Iceland so all holidays have been cancelled, so we are now not going :-( We should get our money back so we hope to go somewhere later in the year instead.

On the plus side, the weather here looks really nice for the next week, so I will just have to get the paddling pool out and pretend I am on holiday, lol.

Wedding Card For a Girl At Work

Once again life has been mad, hence why I have been absent ( stop pretending that you didnt even notice, lol)

One of my colleagues at work is getting married and I was asked by one of the bosses I worked with to organise the card and everything as I was a woman and knew how to do these things, lol. So I thought I would make a personalised card. The giril and hubby to be love their camper van and have travelled all over Europe in it, so I thought I would include it on the card.

Mouse With Sunflower

Hope youa re all ahving a lovely Bank Holiday Monday. Me and hubby have just been to see Clash of the Titans 3D at the cinema. Good film but not worth the £10 a ticket that they charge for seeing it in 3D when there is no 3D. So if you go and see it, just pay for the normal film without the 3D.

TiIda Wedding Card

Happy Easter Sunday All :-)

Hope that you are not all feeling sick from eating too much chocolate ! I'm just feeling sick from eating too much, he he. My parents came to stay this weekend, and as usual, I went mad making cakes and puddings etc for them, but my mum also made me bread pudding and a fruit cake. I ahve enough food here to feed the 5000 ! Anyone that fancies a cake, feel free to pop over before I explode.
