ATSC #60 Lots of layers

 

Morning all :-)

 

It's time for a challenge over at ATSC. This challenge is for lots of layers on your project and will run for 4 weeks rather than for 2 weeks, so you have plenty of time to enter your creations :-)

My card has been made using an image by Mo Manning. The papers are by Summer Driggs who does wonderful free papers on her blog http://summertimedesigns.blogspot.co.uk/. The heat and the corner have been cut using Marianne design dies and the charm is from Live and Love crafts.

Morning all

My card has been made using an image by Krista Smith and this has been coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are by Magnolia, the pennants have been cut using a die by La La Land Crafts, the swirl is by Memory Box and the sentiment is from TLC.

Morning

For my card I chose Ribbon/lace, Flowers and a Sentiment. The image I used is by Mo Manning and has been coloured with ProMarkers, the papers are from the New Bloom paper pad by First Edition, the corner is from Live and Love Crafts and the flowers are from WOC and Live and Love Crafts.

ATSC #56 Colourcombo - Pink, grey and cream

LOTV sketch pad

Evening everyone

Hope you all had a nice sunny long weekend :-) Just a quickie from me as I don't have an awful lot of time at the moment. My front room got flooded about 6 weeks ago so we have been living in the remaining rooms of the house, squashed and covered in dust, listening to de humidifiers for all of that time, lol. But at last, the decorators are coming tomorrow....Hooray. so hopefully only a week of decorating and then things can get back to normal.

Anyway, this card was made using a picture from the new LOTV sketch pads which come pre coloured, so good for time saving. The papers are by Basic Grey, The cloud dies are by Magnolia and Memory Box and the fence die is by Magnolia.

Mum's birthday card

Evening all

I made this card for my mum for her birthday which was on Saturday. When I was growing up, we had St Bernard dogs and my mum just adores them, so when I saw this image at Mo Mannings, I just knew it was perfect for her :-)

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers, the papers are by Sherry K, the swirl is a Marianne die, the heart die is by Magnolia and the flowers are from WOC.

Vintage lady

Evening all

Hope everyone is well :-) I am exhausted after spending the whole day in the kitchen getting ready for the arrival of my family tomorrow. As everyone is probably aware, it is Mother's Day on Sunday but also my mum's birthday tomorrow, so double celebrations :-) As it's her birthday she is allowed to choose the birthday meal and she chose curry. I have prepared three curries, made samosas, got the sag aloo ready, made mars bar cheesecake, apple cake and a birthday cake. I'll still have to get up early tomorrow to do the rest, lol. But my mum is worth it :-)

Anyway, this card was made just because I liked the image. The papers are by Sherry K, the Love in Paris collection, the ovals have been cut using Spellbinders and the butterflies have been cut using Cheery Lynn and Memory Box dies.

Vintage Mother's Day card

Morning all

It seems like ages since I posted a card (well, it is), lol. I have been away with work a fair bit and things at home have just got really busy so I dont know where the last two weeks have gone....I think the time fairy stole them!

Anyway..... I made this card as a sort of Mother's day card but I suppose it could be used for anything. I'm not sure who the papers are by as they are sort of loose in my box but Little Yellow Bicycle rings a bell.The stamps I bought at Stamperama last weekend and I can't remember who they are by....I am doing really well aren't I????? The flower is from the Range, the wooden bits are from Hobbycraft and the ticket and clock die are by Tim Holtz. The memory stamp is by Kaisercraft.

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #50 - Use Kraft

It's challenge time again over at Addicted to Stamps. The challenge this fortnight is to use Kraft paper on your project.

For my card I have used Papermania kraft card, papers by First Edition, a flower by Prima Marketing and an Image by Kenny K that has been coloured with ProMarkers. The swirls have been cut using a Magnolia Doo Hickey die and the other dies are all by Spellbinders,

vintage bicycle

Morning all

Hope everyone is well :-) This is a card I made using some a picture off of a collage sheet. I recently discovered collage sheets on Etsy and think they are wonderful for quick easy cards. You buy a digi sheet for around £2.50 and get approx 35 images,,,,They are great and there are so many to pick from :-)

This image is from the vitage transport set by Karisa Graphics. The papers are by Bo BUnny, the tape and the ticket are by Tim Holtz.

Hubby's anniversary card

Hi all

Last week was my wedding anniversary and me and hubby went off to Prague for a few days. It is such a lovely city and we had a wonderful time :-)

I made this card for him which doesn't look very romantic with an apple on the front, but I do a lot of baking and hubby just loves all of the puddings I make. So I thought that the apple and the sentiment were just right for him, lol.

The apple and the sentiment are by Magnolia, as is the leaf die. The papers are from the Noir et Chic paper pad by First Edition and the wonky square is by Spellbinders.

Morning all

Fun card

Morning all

I thought I would post this card to make people smile :-) I made it for my ex father in law who plays the banjo and thought it was quite funny. I found the image on the internet and thought it was appropriate for him lol.

The papers are by the Farm House and are called Market Square. The calendar is by Jenny Bowlin, the ticket is Tim Holtz and the notes have been cut with a Cheery Lynn die.

ATSC #48 Use Material/Texture

Morning all
Hope everyone is ok in the snow. It looks so lovely until you try to go anywhere in it, lol.
It's time for another challenge over at Addicted To Stamps. The challenge this fortnight is to use some sort of material or texture on your card.
My card has been made using a Tom and Tilly image from Mo Manning and has been coloured using ProMarkers. The materials I have used are "lint" (I couldn't get any cheesecloth so I used some lint from the first aid box, lol) and lace. My texture is with some corrugated card, a wooden and a metal birdcage and a metal embelished photo corner.

Tiddly Inks Xmas Card

Evening all

Hope everyone is enjoying the snow :-) We have a fair bit still left here, although I dont think it will still be here by the end of tomorrow.

I made this card before Christmas but as usual, didn't get round to posting it (I'm so rubbish!)

The image is from Tiddly Inks, the sentiment is by LOTV, the papers are by Magnolia and the bauble die  cut is by Memory Box.

Card post at last

Morning all

Hope everyone is well. I have been having a problem uploading photos on my blog. I used to be able to uploads photos straight from a folder on my PC but this option has now disappeared :-( I also use Picasa and whilst searching for a solution, it said that I could upload straight to my blog from Picasa. But the option was not on my version. Eventually I figured out that I now have to upload all my photos to a Google+ album. What a palava!

Anyway... This card has been made using an image from Tiddly Inks and it has been coloured with Pro Markers. The border is a Memory Box die, the eiffel tower is a Marianne die and the Love is a Cheery Lynn die. 

If anyone knows of a way to enable me to upload photos from my PC onto my blog, please let me know :-)
