A Christmas Card at Last

Hi all

I have finally managed to do a Christmas card at last. It seems that everyone else has made zillions already and I have hardly any :-(  Oh well, one is better than none, he he. This one has been made using a LOTV image, Martha Stewart punch, Marianne Creatable dies and some paper from somewhere, lol.

Another Kenny K Card

Hi all

Hope you are all well and not as hectic as I am at the mo. I was in Harrogate for work for three days this week, came home and the next day went to Telford and on Friday I was in North Wales. Back to Telford on Saturday and back in Stevenage today. Off to Harrogate again tomorrow. My poor little card is going to flake out I am sure, lol.

This card has been made using Basic Grey papers and another Kenny K digi image (although the ink smudged a bit around her mouth, grrrrr). The swirls are cut using a TIm Holtz die cut.

Keeny K Ice Cream Diva

Hi again

THought I would make one more card before I pop off to bed and try to get some sleep before I get up again at 5 to start my 3 1/3 hour journey to Harrogate for work.This card is made using one of the Kenny K images of which I have fallen in love with, they are perfect for teenage cards. The papers are Basic Grey and the ribbon is one from the Papermania Capsule collection

Chinese / Japanese Card & an Award

Hi all

Well, what a busy weekend it has been. I have had my parents, my nan and the dog for the weekend. Its my dads birthday on Wednesday so they came up for his birthday meal :-) Our family has a tradition that you get to pick your birthday dinner and you get really spoilt. Dad picked toad in the hole and a lemon cheesecake. Everything turned out really nice and we are all now 10 stone heavier, he he.

I fancied making a card with The Greeting Farm Chibi Japanese image that I have, but being the doo lalley person that I am, I forgot she was Japanese and printed Happy Birthday off in Chinese, lol. She can be a bi lingual Japanese lady, he he. The papers are from the Prima Peaches pad.

I also got a lovely award from my twin Mandy Moo. She is having a bit of a poohy time at the mo, so go an d pay her a visit and give her lots of hugs and kisses because she is a really lovely person and her cards aren't too bad either, lol.

Another Two

Hi all

I have made another two cards today and now I am umming and aghing whether to sit in the garden for a bit. I thought I would make two 'flat' cards as I am bored having to keep making boxes for my cards, lol. Does anyone have a quick, easy method for making boxes ?

This card is made using a Penny Black stamp and coloured using watercolour felt tips for a change. THe papers are from Papermania.

This one is made with another Penny Black stamp and the papers are from Basic Grey.

Two Cards

Hi all

Ooh, its very quiet in the card world. THink everyone is out in the sun or just too hot and bothered to make any cards, lol. I have managed two cards today although it was hard as I have the fan on me and it keeps blowing my paper around the place, lol. I have been trying to be good using up all bits of paper that I have bits of. This card is using some I Love Elsie paper that I had left over and a Hanglar & Stanglar image.

This one is using up some Nitwit papers that I had printed off. The image is a LOTV wedding image and the flowers are home made. Looking at it now on screen, it all looks a bit wonky. Oh well, he he.

Dont overdo it in the sun :-)

Card For Nan

Hi all

Well, I have been in Harrogate for the last few days for work and I must say that it was fun but I was lonely without my hubby :-( Plus I couldnt make any cards or blog hop or anything, lol. I got back tonight and have finished sticking this card together that I started at the weekend. I made it for my nan because my aunty died about 7 years ago at the age of 51 and it would have been her birthday next week. Obviously my nan gets a bit upset (as do I) so I though I would make her a nice card and put a nice little poem in it for her.

I have used sketch #109 from Friday Sketchers and will be entering it into this challenge. The papers are from Papermania & the image is from Karens Doodles, coloured with Promarkers.

Dad's Birthday Card

Well, I have sat in the garden and beaten hubby as Scrabble, lol. I done this card this morning as it's my dad's birthday on the 21st of this month, but he is coming to visit the weekend before. So I thought I would be organised and get his card done in advance for once, he he

I made this card using the Popcorn the Bear Mens Collection. I find it hard to make cards for my dad as he doesnt really have any interests other than sleeping and gardening. Thought this card done the trick :-)

CC Design Cupcake

Hi again :-)

Well, its Saturday night and for once in my life, I am at home. Its so nice sometimes to have nothing to do and nowhere that I have to be :-)

So, I made a card (surprise surprise). I wanted to use the balloon stamp as I have had it for about 2 years and never used it. Now I have used, I think I quite like it. I am entering this card into just one challenge, the Paperplay Challenge '10 week 26, which is to make a card for a child or a teenager. The papers are from the Love Bug colelction from Nitwits, the stamp is from CC Designs and the balloon samp is by Whispers.

Chocolate Magnolia

Hi all

Hope you are all ok. Wow, hasnt it been hot today. It hasnt been that sunny here, its been a bit cloudy, but it has been really humid and its getting hotter as the day goes on. I know its nice to have hot weather, but I am a cold lover, and I am suffering with this heat. I find myself longing for the cold, lol.

Anyway, back to the card....I made this card to enter into Susie Sugars new Totally Tilda Challenge. The theme is 'Chocolate'. When I was making this card, I thought it was more choclate than it was if you know what I mean, lol. I used papers from Summer Driggs, flowers from orchid Crafts, Magnolia Tilda, bunny and teddy stamp and a WOJ bench image.

Baby Boy

Evening all

First post this week, how bad is that ???? So much ahs been going on... I have been really busy all week doing the job I hate, trying to get it all finished because I have been given a secondment to another team for 3 months as a Technical Author, woo hoo :-) I am soooo happy that I get to go to another team and try something that I am sure I will love. I get to draw diagrams and everything :-) Oh and I got toop three over at Tellens Place Challenge :-) Anyway, enough of my waffle, lol
