Hi Again

I love the colours in this card. I have the DCVW Garden Party paper pad, and I have been looking at it and stroking it for months, not wanting to use it because the papers are so nice. But I put my foot down yesterday and tore 2 sheets from the pad. It hurt, but at least I ahve made the first move, lol.

Lili of The Valley Baby Girl

Hi all

First of all, this weekend has gone totally to pot :-( My parents, nan and the dog were supposed to be coming up from Kent for the weekend as its mums birthday. I had got loads of food in to make her a Chinese banquet and made her favourite lemon cheesecake and Eve's pudding. But they got stuck in the traffic jam from hell and the car overheated, so after 4 hours of going nowhere, they turned round and went home again :-( I totally understand why they went home, I'm just sad that I didnt get to see them. But, me and hubby have decided to drive down there on Tuesday after work (mums actual birthday), armed with cheesecake, cChinese dumplings and pressies and surprise her.

On the plus side I managed to make some cards :-) ........

Friends Birthday Card

Hope you are all well :-)

I have actually managed to do a card in the week, woo hoo.

I made this card for one of my best friends whose birthday is at the end of March. I chose the nun image because me and my friends all went up to London dressed as nuns to the Sound of Music sing a long a couple of years ago. Our nun outfits were a little unconventional, but we had a good time :-)

Sophisti-Cats DT Card

Hi all

Long time no post. Life has been manic and I have had no time to even look at my blog, let alone add anything :-( (poor me, my life is so hard, lol)

Anyway, this card was made for the Sophisti-Cats 'Oriental' challenge which was set by me. I thought it would be a nice different challenge and I was looking forward to it as I have tons of Oriental stuff. But me being me, I forgot that I had something do almost every night of the week and all weekend, so this card was rushed. But even thought it was rushed, I was still semi pleased with it.

I have no idea where I got all the stuff from, it was all just bits and bobs from my stash.

Thought I would enter this for the Corrosive Challenge as well as their challenge is Asian as well.

I have a couple more cards to post tonight, so I'd better get on and do those :-)
